We sing two thousand years of songs, from the oldest in Europe (in ancient Greek) and the oldest in English, to songs written by friends last year. Creating something new out of old material is the challenge - folk is always contemporary, contantly reinvented.

French dancing is mostly couple dances - think French café waltzes - but there's much more to it than that. Breton dances link the dancers in circles and spirals; the simple ones accessible and trancey, the more complex ones energetic with nifty footwork.
